— News from the Customs:

Officers of Qingdao Dagang Customs House (affiliated to Qingdao Customs District) said they found 53 canaries from the luggage of an inward Korean passenger a few days ago. Customs officers said the lively, singing birds were kept in two double-floored bird cages hidden in two handbags.
