A good news from Guangzhou: A dog named Fufu (means Lucky) was rescued from a car accident in September 2012, but sustained several injuries including a severely fractured hip bone. The initial rescuer did not have enough money and resources to help heal Fufu, so she was passed on to a group of young rescuers called Zaizai Animal Rescue Group in Guangzhou. This group was established nearly two years ago when they first rescued a dog called Zaizai. It has grown over the years and continuously saves many stray cats and dogs. These loving people spread the news through the web and strived to raise donations for Fufu’s operations. They raised over 10000￥ for Fufu’s operation and she is now healthy, safe, and happily adopted by her initial rescuer.
