From our friends at GDAF
This is an event of anti-fur campaign we have hold on Jan. 1, 2013.
After hearing that there was a fur trading show in Guangzhou, we decided to go there to start a protest.
First of all, we went to the place and talked to the people in charge of this exhibition, trying to persuade them not to sell fur products.
Then we had a protest in front of their exhibition room in a hotel.
Finally we came out to the road and continued our campaign activity. We send out leaflets topedestrians, telling them about the cruelty of the fur industry and asking for their promise not to buy fur cloths.
Our group leader brought a cat with her on during this event. The cat was saved from the Xingfu market in Conhua, where she was scrammed with many other cats and were to be sold to restraurants. When our volunteers arrived to the market, she cried loudly to reach us. Our volunteer insisted on taking her and another three cats out. Now she is living a happy life in our group leader’s home and awaiting for adoption. She brought her to the event in order to tell people that many fur clothes are made from cats and dogs skinned alive and many other wildlife.
This campaign was support by Actasia in terms of information and leaflets.

What an excellent protest…the picture which looks like dog fur is perfect to shock people into reality. Imagine if this was once your dog or cat.
Keep the great work growing and going.
GOOD FOR THOSE LOVELY PEOPLE WITH A HEART. THERE SEEM TO BE DOG PELTS IN ONE OF THE PHOTOS. HOW CAN THIS CRUEL EVIL CARRY ON ????
Well done everyone, you are doing a great job.

Thanks for having a heart and trying to make a differance for the animals so cruely tortured. You are Great people ,
These people are very brave as they are in the minority in China ,they must work to change attitudes and customs and bring about laws to protect all animals -teaching children -kindness and love of animals in the schools and homes is where it all begins.
Congratulations! This is such a worthy cause that will extend to the exploitation of all animals worldwide. Well done!
